Description
Sir Kenneth Dover, now Chancellor of the University of St Andrews, is an outstanding Greek scholar of international reputation. Among his many publications are books on Greek homosexuality and popular morality, and magisterial editions of Thucydides and Aristophanes. Former pupils and colleagues, themselves distinguished scholars (including Emeritus Professors A. Andrewes, I. G. Kidd, Sir Hugh Lloyd-Jones, D. A. Russell; Professors P. Barron, D. M. Lewis, D. M.
