Description
"Apheresis" provides a comprehensive, state-of-the-art review of the applications of apheresis in treating neurologic, hematologic, hepatic and nephrologic disorders. The book deals with the basic science, pathophysiology and role of plasma exchange in treating such disorders as: collagen vascular disease, hypercholesterolemia, demyelating neurologic diseases, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis, glomerulohephritis, myeloma renal failure, vasculitis, fulminant hepatitis, thrombotic angiopathies and acute hepatic failure.
