内容説明

This text shows the application of simplified theory models to a wide range of phenomena of interest to social scientists. Although non-technical (requiring no special mathematical background of readers), the book demonstrates the range of applications of primitive game models. The variety of subjects discussed (ranging from incidental matters of everyday living to theological issues) shows that very different kinds of concrete phenomena may have similar patterns of strategic interaction. Special consideration is given to key issues of bargaining theory, and experimental work is summarized to show how such issues may be clarified by use of primitive games.
