This is a text/reference book which provides an up-to-date introduction and overview of the phenomenology and physical principles describing current knowledge of the Sun. A specific objective will be to focus on recent advances that have direct bearing on solar-terrestrial physics, stellar astronomy, and plasma astrophysics.
