内容説明
The author explains that the key to successful management in our colleges and universities is a clear understanding of how the entire college really works as a system and how its parts connect and overlap. He reveals how changes in one area of operation in a college or university, whether in the implementation of a new academic program, plans for campus expansion, or the reassignment of classroom space, can have dramatic consequences in the effectiveness of many other areas of operation. Tellefsen shows how the complex network of resources and activities must be organized and integrated across all areas of college administration. And he reveals how by doing so administrators can develop the effective systems and policies needed to achieve institutional goals, maintain good standards of practice, and help today's colleges and universities prosper in the face of declining enrollments, increased competition for funds, and other challenges.
