内容説明
Designed and written as a first course in electromagnetism, this text will meet the requirements of students of electrical and electronic engineering, electronic materials, physics and other engineering and science based courses. The author places emphasis on the grasp of physical processes, the development of models for these processes and their use in the study of engineering problems. The use of mathematics is minimised whenever possible although mathematical techniques are gradually introduced, especially in the second half of the book, in a way that will be useful to the engineer and applied scientist. Numerous examples are given followed by problems with answers.
