内容説明
Providing the first up-to-date, detailed description of the newer techniques now available in organic mass spectrometry, this book begins with a general introduction to the subject, which is followed by a series of chapters devoted to specific practical techniques in organic mass spectrometry. Theoretical aspects are covered only in so far as they are relevant to the practical applications of the technique discussed. The book has three main aims. First, to give the reader an understanding of the principles of the techniques described. Second, to enable the reader to assess their potential as analytical tools. Third, to provide the reader with sufficient information on each technique to use it in practise. For those requiring further information the book contains an extensive list of references which provide more-in-depth discussion. This is essentially a book for the practising mass spectrometrist. It assumes familiarity with the basic principles of mass spectrometry, and will be most valuable to those individuals who wish to evaluate and compare alternative methods.
