Description
This book contains eighteen pieces written by Verrier Elwin which cover a wide variety of subjects. The first two pieces are autobiographical. Of the rest, some are about tribal culture while other chapters are on tribal art, tribal folk-songs, and myths. One entire chapter is devoted to Nagaland. There is a plate section of nineteen black and white photographs, mostly taken by Elwin himself.
