内容説明

This study makes a detailed comparison of employment conditions and labour relations in Bombay and the Netherlands within the same multinational companies. It demonstrates the considerable divergence between conditions in the Indian and Netherlands offices of the same companies; the concentration of investment and restructuring decisions in Europe; and the inability of unions to negotiate with multinational companies at an international level. This is the second volume of a series of studies sponsored under the Indo-Dutch Programme on Alternatives in Development.
