Description
This book brings together individual articles and essays on Lawrence's poetry which appeared over a period of about 60 years. Many of them, written by well-known poets and critics, are not easily available because they were first published in periodicals and books which are now out-of-print. In their present form, these diverse discussions should lead to a cumulative assessment of Lawrence's poetry, showing how he has been regarded as a poet over the years as well as revealing the intrinsic merit of his poetry. It includes writings by Lawrence himself about his own poetry, that of others, and about poetry in general.
