Description
The computer-based Beilstein Handbook is the most complete and systematic collection of evaluated data on organic compounds. This book begins with an introduction and overview of the database. It then discusses the development of the database, the implementations of the two operating systems (STN and DIALOG), chemical structure searches, and the physical properties data stored in the handbook. It also describes the Lawson Similarity Number, a valuable new tool for
searching for structure similarity.
