内容説明
Using case studies of broadcasting and telecommunications reforms, this volume aims to investigate the interaction between the international and national dimensions of communication policies and the relationships between politics and markets in their creation and implementation, especially with regard to "deregulation". Its conclusions stress the importance of the international dimension, not least the role of international institutions in a context of the mounting interdependency and imbalance of international power.
