Description and Table of Contents

Description

Magnetic resonance as an imaging method in oncology is presented in this up-to-date monograph. The use of MR for the examination of tumor growth in different body regions or organs is discussed in separate chapters. Of particular interest is therapy planning with MR and three dimensional volume imaging combined with a special post-processing technique. The possibilities of MR as an instrument for evaluating radiochemotherapy response are also presented. The last chapter features the clinical application of in vivo magnetic resonance spectroscopy. This book will be a source of new information for all clinicians working in oncology.
