Description
The latest research in B-cell neoplasia presented here shows that, while our understanding of these pathogenetic mechanisms is improving, future progress will depend on the co-operation, exchanges and collaboration of interested scientists from laboratories with different perspectives. The focus is on five major topics: the progress made in experimental models of B-cell tumorigenesis; the role of IL-6 in plasma cell tumour formation with particular emphasis on human myeloma; the immortalization and regulation of mitosis in B-cells; the mycgene in B-cell neoplasia, and the role of EBV and other oncogenes in the transformation of human BB lymphocyctes.
