"Comrade loves of the smurai" are retranslated stories from "Contes d'amour des samourais," a translation by Ken Sato, and "Songs of the geishas" are retranslated selections from G. Morphy's "Le livre des geigha" and from E. Steinilber-Oberlin and H. Iwamura's "Chansons des geishas."
