Description
Since the most recent conference in Florence (1986), we have witnessed a tremendous expansion in the interest of blood lipids and drugs that have applications for lipid disorders and atherosclerosis. The proceedings of the conference in Houston not only reviews the development of new agents, but also focuses on the recent discovery of new applications for old drugs, including the anti-oxidant effect of procubol in animals, as well as the current state of cholesterol research and atherosclerosis.
