The purpose of the annual Euromicro Symposia is to bring together people from business, industry, government and academia, who are interested in problems relating to the technology and applications of microcomputer systems. This book, one of the results of the latest symposium, contains research papers addressing a variety of issues, with this year's theme of "Hardware and Software in System Engineering", and subthemes of "The Moving Hardware/Software Interface" and "System Reliability".
