内容説明
The author argues that the gradual accretion of government responsibility for industrial relations matters led to a crisis in 1979 and generated the need for an alternative policy. The creation and implementation, by the governments of Margaret Thatcher, of the alternative policy is examined together with likely future developments. This text provides an account of the development of government industrial relations policy in Britain from the turn of the century to the present day.
