内容説明
This provides an overview of theoretical developments within the Anglo-Saxon women's movement from the late 18th century to today, taking as its theme sexual difference. The first part traces the evolution of attitudes toward the question of difference from Mary Wollstonecraft to current debates about post-structualism and post-feminism. The second part examines controversies in several key policy areas: sex discrimination and affirmative action, abortion, divorce and custory, pornography, rape, maternity and parental leave, and protective legislation. This book is intended for students and researchers in gender studies, sociology and political science.
