内容説明
Solar Physics in the 1990s is a collection of papers which reviews the results of recent solar activity research, including observations, theory and modelling, and presents formally plans for new programs of research during the next solar maximum and beyond. Topics covered include manifestations of solar activity in the solar interior, photosphere, chromosphere and corona, the rationale for future satellite experiments, and plans for co-ordinated space- and ground-based observing campaigns at X-ray, optical and radiowavelengths. Also included are papers from a special session on hard X-ray spectrometer calibrations and the use of hard X-ray spectrometers to study the "superhot" component of solar flares.
