内容説明
Robert Rand gives an inside view of the Soviet justice system from the perspective of the practising lawyer. The focus is Moscow, where the author, a journalist, lawyer and Soviet affairs analyst, sat side by side with members of the local bar organization during legal office consultations and in the courtroom. His candid descriptions of those sessions and of the homicide trial of a young Soviet convey the distinctive character of the Soviet legal system and offer insight into the reforms that have begun to alter it.
