Description and Table of Contents
Description
In dealing with some 30 areas of conflict around the world, this record provides an explanation of the issues involved, a chronology of events, a description of the terrain that characterizes each conflict and an identification of the protagonists. Each conflict under scrutiny is introduced by an essay offering both historical perspective and current assessment, followed by sections on geographical facts, key words, a chronology of events, key places, who's who and further reading. Maps locate the conflicts and, where appropriate, indicate changes which have taken place.
