内容説明

With the revival of ethnic minority conflicts and nationalist aspirations in the Balkans and Southern USSR, the Greek-Turkish dispute is once more on the agenda of international politics. The erosion of NATO and US involvement in the light of fading bipolarity has accorded the two rivals an autonomy of action unprecedented in the post-World War II era which could evolve into much more intense or violent forms of bilateral interaction in the near future. This book aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the issues and events related to the conflict with emphasis on the period after the 1974 Cyprus crisis. It attempts to trace the future evolution of Greek-Turkish relations paying equal attention to domestic and international factors.
