内容説明
The book examines important aspects of primary teachers' experience by drawing on the author's analysis of nearly a thousand accounts of classroom events told by 123 teachers. Through their stories a clear picture is built up of how teachers see teaching. Most primary teachers cannot easily see each other at work. However it is possible to read of other teachers' experiences. This confirms, extends and illuminates one's own experience. "Primary Teaching: How It Is" presents and analyzes teachers' experience and views of children, planning, children's learning, classroom events and dealing with parents. The fundamental basis of the book is innovative - using a systematic analysis of teachers' narrative accounts to examine their perspectives on teaching.
