内容説明
This text introduces readers to contemporary issues of multiple-use planning and management of marine environments and natural resources. It draws heavily on the experience of the first ten years of Australia's Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Key issues of marine environment and resource management are discussed. The author points out the advantages and limitations of the multiple-use management approach to marine environment issues. Requirements for implementation and co-ordination of national, regional and international marine approaches to multiple-use management are also suggested.
