Description
Researchers, practitioners, and students of human factors/ergonomics, organizational behavior and related fields, assembled at the above symposium from all over the world and shared their expertise in this rapidly expanding interdisciplinary area. The world's politics and economics have changed dramatically during the course of the last few years. These changes have also had a great effect on the general awareness of people. This is especially true in the Soviet Union, the "East Block" nations, and several Asian countries. In this age of change, the organization and management issues addressed by the papers in this book are the objects of renovation in these countries. The changes are directed away from the whole towards the individual. Some of them are reflected in this volume.
