Description
This collection of papers discusses the Piper Alpha accident after the publication of the Cullen Report. The papers stress the lessons that have been learnt from the accident, the changes which have been made in the immediate aftermath of the accident and those now being implemented. Papers address areas of interest such as likely causes, safety procedures and practice, emergency tactics and the cost of the lessons learned in wide terms.
