内容説明
The growth of the small firm and the economic activity of the individual are important features of the restructuring of the economy - known as the enterprise culture. Because it is a concept that is not only difficult to evaluate but often controversial and politically sensitive, social scientists have been slow to analyze it. Consequently, it has been caricatured and questions regarding its effect on society and the economy have been left unanswered. This collection presents the first critical analysis of the various manifestations of enterprise culture, covering industrial relations, working entrepreneurship, regional variations and enterprise in the public sector. The volume provides a comprehensive picture of the social and economic context within which the enterprise culture has emerged.
