内容説明
We live in a post-modern age characterized by social fragmentation and disintegration, cultural heterogeneity and a new pluralism in politics. "Postmodern Politics in Germany" demonstrates how post-modern theory can be fruitfully used to advance our understanding of the transformation of politics in contemporary advanced capitalist societies. Through an analysis of the emergence of post-modern politics in the new Left and new Right in the 1970s and 1980s in West Germany, the author lays out what has caused the rise of post-modern politics, its impact on West German society, and the issues most likely to evolve from its confrontation with the post-modern age which has been compounded dramatically by the sudden challenge of unification.
