The National Curriculum represents one of the most important changes in schooling this century. Although this guide to the National Curriculum has been written specifically for parents, it may also be a useful reference for educators and school governors. The author introduces and explains the structure and technology of the new system, and interprets the reforms in terms of their impact in the classroom.
