内容説明
Once it is understood that manufacturing can be treated as a process, the tasks of managers become very clear. This book shows how manufacturing can be developed, controlled and improved, just like any other process. The managers' work falls naturally into two sections: working with things such as materials and machines, and working with people. The fact that we eventally operate and control things through people is complicated unless the entire operation is looked on as a process. This simplified view is considered and explained, and then expanded to show that what at first glance appears to be complicated, can be split up into quite simple steps. The emphasis throughout the text is on controlling and improving the manufacturing process. The author explains that the manager is the key to the entire operation and must understand the details and implications of every action that he takes.
