The Law of Prescription and of Limitation of Actions was completely transformed by the "Prescription and Limitation (Scotland) Act 1973". Nearly every question of prescription and limitation is now a question of the interpretation of this Act. This edition has been revised and updated to take account of the difficult problems of interpreting statutory provisions. It takes account of all developments to September 1989, and supersedes both the previous edition of the text and its supplement.
