内容説明

This textbook on tort arranges subject-matter according to an interests classification and employs a contextual approach designed to give students a wider perspective of the subject in its socio-economic framework. There are some changes to the arrangement as set out in the third edition of the book. The chapter on malicious abuse of power has been dropeed along with the material on statutory immunities in tort, although the immunities are explained in notes where they are relevant to an understanding of the development of economic torts. Liability for animals has been placed in a separate chapter. An ELBS/LPBB edition is available.
