内容説明
Retinoids are synthetic analogues of vitamin A and are currently used in a variety of non-malignant skin disorders but recent research has shown important beneficial effects in neoplastic diseases of the skin. This book explains the new developments in understanding the disease process in skin cancer and how retinoids can be used to treat such tumours as malignant melanoma, solar keratoses, myelodysplasia and their role in the prevention of sun-induced cancer. The book is the first of its kind in this subject and will be an invaluable reference to all dermatologists, pharmacologists and biochemists interested in the treatment of skin cancer.
