内容説明
The papers in these volumes were commissioned with the object of providing a set of surveys covering a broad range of monetary and financial issues. Each paper aims to offer a comprehensive survey and synthesis of the subject with which it is concerned, accessible to post-graduate and advanced undergraduate students specializing in the area, and a work of reference for professionals working in the field, whether in universities or elsewhere in the public or private sector. This volume focuses on financial institutions and the functioning of capital markets. The chapters examine the changing structure of markets with particular reference to the UK, the flow of funds, financial innovation, the banking firm and regulation and deregulation.
