内容説明

This study is the product of a collaborative research project conducted by two research institutes, one in the UK and one in France. The theme chosen is that of the evolution of the law of contract in England and France, partly because contract underlies so many international activities and transactions but also because contract is a fast-changing concept in both jurisdictions. The thinking behind it was that movement towards the harmonization of contract law could be promoted by achieving a better understanding and knowledge of the use and definition of fundamental concepts in the two jurisdictions.

目次

  • Introduction to the French law of contract
  • the binding nature of contractual obligations
  • the domain of contract
  • the pre-contractual obligation to disclose information
  • the effect of changes in circumstances on long-term contracts
  • remedies
  • the distribution of cars - a complex contractual technique.
