Description
The current research in gamma/delta T cells presented in this text exemplifies that our knowledge of this cell population in the immune system is steadily increasing. The major topics detailed include the genomic organization of gamma/delta T cell receptor loci differentiation, the maturation and selection of gamma/delta T cells, different species of T cells, putative antigens and restriction, and mucosal and dermal immunity with gamma/delta T cells. All papers in this book resulted from an international workshop held in Bavaria in October 1990.
