Description

The main aim of this volume is to provide a concise, practical guide to the law and practice of debt prevention and debt recovery. Advice is given on avoiding bad debts, commencing proceedings in court for debt recovery, enforcement against goods, charging orders, garnishee proceedings and attachment of earnings. The emphasis throughout is on the enforecement of a judgement. Also considered are more specialist forms of debt recovery, the use of insolvency as a collection tool and injunctions including the Mareva Injunctions and Anton Pillar orders. Procedures are clarified by flow charts and time limits and costs and fees are also included.
