Description

'Real socialism' has failed: its economy is ruined, its political system is in tatters. Reforms would appear to be not only necessary, but inevitable. What about the socialist ideas and ideals? Are the values for which people have fought for decades now out of date? Would it not be conceivable to build a system in which the true values of socialism could become reality at last? This book attempts to discuss the beginnings of a theoretical concept for such a system, and to define the foundations of a conceivable model.
