内容説明

This book brings together a collection of articles by two poets, two translators and leading academics from Britain, Europe and the USA about the Nobel Prize author, Brodsky. It opens with Brodsky's Nobel Lecture which offers a wide spectrum of new insights into the extraordinary mind of this poet. This is followed by critical analysis of his individual works, then it moves on to wide-ranging examination of the diversity of Brodsky's style and themes, it advances to an investigation of his similes and rhymes, thus revealing his original use of Russian language. Finally, an interview with Bella Akhmadulina provides an exciting glimpse into the perception of Brodsky by another famous poet.
