内容説明
The operational integrity and safety of pressurized systems and their components is regarded to be of paramount concern at all management levels. The inspection, technical development and applications of such systems was the subject of a conference organized by the IMechE in March 1991. A range of topics was covered including legislation and requirements, testing and inspection procedures and the effectiveness, innovation and management aspects of in-service inspection of nuclear pressure components.
目次
- Management of in-service inspection of pressure systems
- legislation and the management of in-service inspection
- a process industry view of the requirements for an in-house inspection organization
- the history and development of a national scheme for the assessment and certification of in-service inspection bodies
- management and technical procedures for the assessment of defects during in-service inspection of pressure systems
- management of pressure systems inspection at a research centre
- the control of repairs and modifications
- reliability of inspection techniques for pressure components - liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing
- in-service inspection of steam pipework
- inspection techniques assessment of non-nuclear structural components along the PISC methodology
- pipework failure, failure causes and the management factor
- the stress test - a procedure for the rehabilitation of pipelines
- in-service inspection management - inspection manual and programs
- PISC 111 - a status report
- high resolution photographic inspection of a magnox reactor pressure vessel
- a Canadian electrical utility perspective on in-service inspection of pressurized systems
- detection and repair of a crack in a BWR feed wqater nozzle safe-end weld
- new directions for ASME section X1 in the 1990s.
