内容説明

Since its origin in 1941, the Government Social Survey has studied a number of aspects of social and economic activities on behalf of government departments and has contributed information for policy formulation and evaluation. Housing and health services, crime and deterrents, employment and changes in the cost of living, education, transport and nutrition have all been surveyed. This history shows how the Survey's work has evolved and developed with changes in government over 40 years.
