Description and Table of Contents
Description
Increasing demands for noise reduction and refinement dictate improvements in technology in many areas of vehicle and power plant design and developments. The papers from this IMechE conference consider all aspects of this important topic. Particular reference is given to noise quality; road noise; mountings; cooling systems noise; designed-in refinement; wind noise; powertrain refinement; prediction and analysis. All types of vehicles are considered including cars, vans, trucks, military and agricultural vehicles as well as large road making equipment.
