内容説明
This work offers theoretical and practical guidelines on both the acute and long-term management of patients. All of the problems presented are common ones. For example, the inability to void, urinary tract infections, upper tract dilatation and sexual activity. The book gives advice on how to manage such problems and which investigations are the most appropriate, sifting the mountain of information found in voluminous textbooks down to manageable size. It is largely because of detailed attention to the urinary tract that the life expectancy of patients with spinal cord damage has been increased and their quality of life improved.
