Description and Table of Contents

Description

This book provides a concise and physiological account of the principles of modern cardiology. Each cardiac condition is described sequentially from anatomy to haemodynamic disturbances to interpretation of symptoms and physical signs. The prognosis and complications of the lesion lead to a description of medical treatment, indications for surgical treatment, the surgery and its results. The third edition of this book has two new authors and has been completely rewritten and expanded slightly.
