内容説明

The principles on which this book was conceived is that is should be an authoritative text on the pharmacology of drugs used by anaesthetists, having a strong scientific foundation while also relating to everyday practice. The book includes coverage of clinical usages, adverse effects and relevant drug interactions. Anaesthetists do not confine their activities to the operating theatre, and the scope of this book is intended to be wide enough to include areas of pre- and post-operative care as well as the intensive therapy unit. It is aimed at trainee anaesthetists, especially those preparing for FCA part II and part III, or its equivalent and also at pharmacologists.
