Description
Beazley's lists of Athenian black-figure and red-figure vases by painters, groups and classes have long been a standard reference text for studies in Greek art and archaeology. The first edition of this book, published in 1982 as a product of the British Academy project at the Beazley Archive, brought up to date the bibliographical references to illustrations of vases listed in Beazley's "ABV", "ARV Squared" and "Paralipomena". This new edition adds references up to 1987 and includes additional vases with Kalos names and potter or painter signatures.
