内容説明
Aimed at researchers and graduate students in cell and developmental biology, biochemistry, neurobiology, immunology, and pathology, with interests in basic research or medical implications of extracellular matrix. This volume provides an in-depth review of new primary literature on structure and function of matrix receptors, an area of cell biology research. Many aspects of cell and developmental biology (as well as neurobiology, immunology and pathology), are concerned with matrix receptors, which provide an interface for signals involved in cell movement, attachment, development and assembly. The book integrates information about several families of matrix receptors and highlights receptors for extracellular matrix components, cell-matrix interactions in development, effects of extracellular matrix on gene expression and integrins.
