Description
In this text, superantigens, a class of molecules known to be potent stimulators of T lymphocytes, are discussed in terms of their genetic, biological and clinical significance. Their prototypes are the enterotoxins and the toxic-shock-syndrome toxin produced by staphylococcus aureus.
