Description and Table of Contents
Description
This is a new edition of a work of scholarship with an entirely revised, expanded and updated text. This edition of "The Insects of Australia" presents the research of over 70 contributing authors, all specialists in their respective fields. It contains hundreds of illustrations including colour plates and line drawings, many of which are new. With several introductory chapters of general biology and details of the several hundred insect families and tens of thousands of insect species (many unique and unusual) known to exist in Australia, this book should be a useful reference for entomologists, students, and naturalists. This book is intended for students and researchers in entomology.
